Founded by Sid Petty in 1971, the airline introduced visitors to Grand Canyon sightseeing flights while also offering charter service. Its fleet grew from a few early aircraft to twenty planes by 1997, and its operations adapted as the company moved from air taxi service to airline rules. A thoughtful choice for aviation enthusiasts, regional airline collectors, and Nevada history fans.

Air Vegas was established in 1971 and operated sightseeing flights from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon, along with charter services. Founded by Sid Petty, the airline initially based its operations at McCarran International Airport, later moving to Sky Harbor Airport, subsequently renamed Henderson Executive Airport. Its early fleet included two Cessna 207s, a Cessna 337 Skymaster, and a Beechcraft A-36 Bonanza. By 1975 it had five aircraft, and by 1997 its fleet had grown to twenty. During the 1980s, the airline used Cessna 402s on Grand Canyon tours. In the 1990s it began using faster Beechcraft C99 airliners and shifted from air taxi rules to more restrictive airline operating rules. In 1993, it carried about 55,000 tourists on its Grand Canyon route; the source reports that 99 percent were foreign visitors. In the early 2000s, Air Vegas moved from Henderson to North Las Vegas Airport. It continued using Beech 99 aircraft until airline operations ended on September 30, 2004, about sixteen months after Petty’s death. Competitors included Scenic Airlines and Lang Air, which later became Vision Airlines.

11oz

15oz

Height, in

3.74

4.61

Diameter, in

3.15

3.43

Product features

- Microwave-safe for quick reheats

- Dishwasher-safe for easy cleanup

- Available in 11oz and 15oz sizes

- Glossy white ceramic with vibrant, long-lasting print

- Lead- and BPA-free, comfortable C-handle

Care instructions

- Clean in dishwasher or wash by hand with warm water and dish soap

EU representative: HONSON VENTURES LIMITED, gpsr@honsonventures.com, 3, Gnaftis House flat 102, Limassol, Mesa Geitonia, 4003, CY

Product information: Generic brand, two year warranty in the EU and Northern Ireland

Care instructions: Clean in dishwasher or wash by hand with warm water and dish soap
