It became an early Delta Connection carrier, later added a Northwest Airlink affiliation, and joined American programs as American Connection and then American Eagle. Its 1990s jet operations used BAe 146-200s and Avro RJ70s. AMR Eagle Holding announced its purchase of the airline in December 1998.
