Fry's later relocated twice within Sunnyvale before expanding across the United States. In 1996, it bought and converted Incredible Universe superstores. At its 2019 peak, Fry's had 34 stores in nine states. The company also developed online sales after acquiring Cyberian Outpost in 2001; Frys.com was relaunched as its unified online storefront in 2006.
