Drawing on the brothers' grocery-retail background, the store combined computer and electronic supplies with technical books, magazines, snacks, and other goods, promoting itself as \"The One-Stop Shop for the Silicon Valley Professional.\" Its early assortment included integrated circuits, test equipment, computer components, software, and off-the-shelf microprocessors. Fry's later relocated twice within Sunnyvale before expanding across the United States. In 1996, it bought and converted Incredible Universe superstores. At its 2019 peak, Fry's had 34 stores in nine states. The company also developed online sales after acquiring Cyberian Outpost in 2001; Frys.com was relaunched as its unified online storefront in 2006.
