Berger died in 1967, the company continued expanding. New locations opened at Seneca Mall in West Seneca in 1969 and Northtown Plaza in Amherst in 1970. Later openings included Lockport Mall in 1975, Transitown Plaza in Clarence in 1982, McKinley Mall in Hamburg in 1988, and Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga in 1989. A second Buffalo location opened at 510 Elmwood Avenue in the early 1980s. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1991.
