Hyman Zeitz's grandson  Levin became president in 1966; another grandson, Robert Rosenthal, took over in 1972. The chain opened at Smith Haven Mall in 1969 and at Riverside Square Mall in Hackensack, New Jersey, in 1977, reaching six stores. As profits declined, the family-held company was sold in October 1977 to Seedman Merchandising Group, which operated Times Square Stores. The Fulton Street store closed in 1979, and the remaining locations closed or changed names within a few years.
