A Gainesville location followed in 1992, near the University of Florida. Vorce sold the remaining Video Plus stores in 1995 to focus on Rhino. In 1997, the chain ended rentals and concentrated on game trading. Expansion accelerated from 2000, when Rhino opened its first store outside Florida, in Hinesville, Georgia. The company established Gainesville corporate offices in 2001 and a neighboring distribution center in 2002; by 2003 it operated 35 stores. On May 17, 2004, Blockbuster acquired Rhino’s assets.
