The range included touring cars, limousines, roadsters, and other body styles; a 35-horsepower Model D appeared in December 1912. A steering-wheel-mounted electric gearshift brought an early recall and unfavorable publicity amid financial difficulties. In summer 1915, the factory in Reading, Pennsylvania, was auctioned. R. J. Metzler bought it and intended to continue production. In 1916, Metzler and partners moved the plant to Newark, New Jersey, where only one SGV was built.
