The airline expanded to 12 permanent A320s by late 2004, with two seasonal aircraft leased from Condor Airlines. From 2008 it cut routes amid competition, high fuel prices, and weaker demand, while retaining selected international and seasonal services. In 2009 it became certified for the U.S. Civil Reserve Air Fleet and could bid on military charters. Apple Vacations decided to dissolve the airline in November 2011 and subsequently used other carriers for its vacation travel.
