The first Zune, the 30 GB Zune 30, arrived in the United States on November 14, 2006. Later models included flash-memory Zune 4, 8 and 16 players, hard-drive Zune 80 and 120 players, and the touch-screen Zune HD, introduced in 2009. The brand also covered Zune Pass, Zune Marketplace, Windows desktop software, and music and video services for Xbox 360, KIN and Windows Phone. Microsoft ended new hardware development in March 2011 and discontinued all Zune hardware in October 2011. Zune digital services continued until 2012, when Xbox Music, Xbox Video and related services succeeded the
