GhostCorp Apparel - resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.

Make room for plans, notes, or travel reflections with a spiral notebook inspired by Jet 24 International Airways. The Miami airline's story began in 1979 under the name Jet Charter Service, with cargo flights to Caracas starting in 1981. Passenger charters came next, followed by a brief scheduled network from Miami to San Juan and Madrid in 1985. For airline history fans, the notebook recalls a short-lived carrier that moved from freight operations to passenger travel in just a few years, linking Miami with destinations across the Caribbean and Europe.

Jet 24 International Airways Inc. was an American airline based in Miami, Florida, that operated from 1979 until 1985. Its history began in August 1979 as Jet Charter Service. The airline started flying in December 1981, initially operating Boeing 707-320C freighters between Miami and Caracas. Two additional 707s were later acquired. In 1983, the company received permission to operate passenger charter flights and acquired two McDonnell Douglas DC-10s for charters to South America and Europe. Scheduled service began in May 1985, linking Miami with San Juan and Madrid; Paris and Zurich were subsequently added. The airline's financial position deteriorated rapidly. It entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in August 1985, and by October lacked the funds to continue operating. It later ceased to exist. The article identifies no merger or successor. Its reported fleet also included Boeing 720B and 747-100 aircraft and a Douglas DC-8-62F leased to LACSA. Jet 24's brief transition from cargo operations to charter and scheduled passenger service makes its history a compact chapter in Miami-based airline history.
