Add a small reminder of WestAir Commuter Airlines to a desk or study space. The California-rooted carrier grew from Stol Air Commuter, changed its name in 1978, and became an early regional airline operating as United Express. Its journey through changing fleets, a 1991 merger, and a later handoff to SkyWest gives airline historians plenty to explore. This note pad makes a thoughtful desk accessory for route-map fans, aviation researchers, and collectors of regional airline stories.

WestAir Commuter Airlines was a U.S. regional carrier whose roots lay in Stol Air Commuter, based in San Rafael, California, with administrative offices in Santa Rosa. Stol Air Commuter changed its name to WestAir Airlines in 1978, and the company adopted the WestAir Commuter Airlines name in 1986. After the 1978 transition, WestAir Group acquired Redding-based Golden Eagle Airlines. WestAir became one of the first two regional carriers operating as United Express under a code-sharing agreement with United Airlines on May 1, 1985. Headquartered in Fresno and controlled by WestAir Holding, the airline expanded its fleet from small commuter aircraft to turboprops and, from 1988, BAe 146-200 regional jets. North Pacific Airlines, another WestAir Holding carrier operating as United Express, merged into WestAir in 1991. Mesa Air Group acquired WestAir in May 1992. United later ended its United Express contract with WestAir, and on April 23, 1998, SkyWest Airlines replaced it as United's west coast regional United Express carrier. WestAir's Brasilias passed to Utah-based SkyWest, while many of its Jetstream 31s were stored in Kingman, Arizona.

Keep a stack by the phone for action items, stash a pad in your planner for weekly priorities, or place one on a conference table where everyone can jot a quick note. The adhesive holds through handling but releases cleanly when you move items around. For people who prefer minimal branding and maximum writing space, these pads help keep thoughts visible and tasks moving forward without shouting for attention.
