Raise a glass to Western Airlines, the Bellingham startup that briefly connected its hometown with destinations in Southern California and Arizona. Service began on January 18, 2007, with a flight to Ontario, California, and ended when the airline suspended operations on February 7. This pint glass brings that compact chapter of regional aviation history to the table, whether you're sharing stories with fellow airline enthusiasts or adding a distinctive piece to your collection.
Western Airlines was a short-lived American low-cost airline headquartered in Bellingham, Washington. It grew from a local effort to bring more passenger service to Bellingham International Airport: in 2004, Port of Bellingham officials set a goal of adding destinations beyond Seattle, and in late 2005 the Port announced a lease with the startup, founded by two local businessmen with aviation experience. On November 16, 2006, the airline announced planned January service from Bellingham to four vacation destinations; Reno, Nevada, was later cancelled before flights began. Operations started on January 18, 2007, with a flight to Ontario, California. Western operated as a scheduled charter using aircraft wet leased from Xtra Airways while pursuing FAA approval as a commercial airline. Its network included Bellingham, Ontario, San Diego, and Mesa/Phoenix, Arizona. On February 7, 2007, Western suspended operations because of debts to suppliers, including Xtra Airways and its Bellingham fuel vendor. Xtra Airways continued flying to return Western passengers to their originating airport. The source does not identify a successor or a merger; Western's planned service did not resume.

A sturdy 16oz pint glass that brings a little roadhouse spirit to everyday pours. The clear tempered glass showcases whatever you fill it with — amber beer, cold brew, or fresh juice — while a bold vintage-inspired script wraps the side for a subtle, nostalgic touch. It feels solid in the hand, resists everyday wear, and pairs easily with bar carts, kitchen counters, or a laid-back backyard table. Wash gently by hand to keep the lettering sharp and the glass crystal-clear. Built from tempered materials and assembled in the USA, this glass fits into evenings spent swapping stories, weekend morning routines, or those slow, quiet moments when a simple drink matters.
