Ghost Corp Apparel — resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.

Ada Air, legally Ada Air Sh.p.k. and also presented as Ada Air Albania, was a Tirana-based regional carrier founded in 1991 by French investor Julien Roche and Albanian investor Marsel Skendo. It began flying in February 1992, an early small-airline arrival in Albania’s newly opened aviation market.

The company was initially formed as Adalbanair. Its first scheduled Tirana–Bari flight departed on February 5, 1992, when it was renamed Ada Air Albania; IATA accepted the airline later that year, on May 25. Not bad for a startup whose big international doorway was straight across the Adriatic.

From Tirana International Airport, Ada Air connected Albania with Italy, Greece, Kosovo, and Macedonia, while also flying charters around the Balkans and Europe. In later years, the lean operation was especially associated with the Tirana–Bari route and overnight freight work for DHL. Its compact fleet story included an Embraer Bandeirante and leased Yakovlev and Fokker equipment.

Ada Air ceased operations in 2007, after a 16-year corporate life and roughly 15 years of flying. No merger or acquisition has been identified in the available historical sources. Its ZY airline code, ADE ICAO code, and no-frills regional ambition remain a sharp little snapshot of post-isolation Albanian aviation.
