BellSouth
Ghost Corp Apparel — resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.
BellSouth was one of the seven “Baby Bells” created after the breakup of the original AT&T system in 1984. Headquartered in Atlanta, BellSouth became the familiar telephone company across much of the southeastern United States, serving millions of customers from Florida to Kentucky with landline, internet, and wireless services.
BellSouth also helped create Cingular Wireless, which grew into one of the country’s largest mobile carriers before eventually becoming AT&T Mobility. In 2006, AT&T acquired BellSouth, bringing another major piece of the old Bell System back under the AT&T name.
For anyone who remembers BellSouth phone bills, landlines, dial-up internet, or that unmistakable blue-and-white logo, our BellSouth collection celebrates a telecommunications giant that disappeared into corporate history.
