Cedar Fair
Ghost Corp Apparel — resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.
Cedar Fair, L.P. commenced operations in 1983 with the acquisition of Cedar Point, Inc., the operator of the long-running Lake Erie amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio. It became a publicly traded partnership in 1987, building a corporate identity around seasonal thrills, midway food, and the very serious business of getting people onto rides.
From its Sandusky headquarters at One Cedar Point Drive, Cedar Fair expanded beyond its flagship. The operator acquired Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun in Kansas City in 1995, Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park in 1997, and the Paramount Parks portfolio in 2006. Its parks mixed roller coasters, water rides, hotels, games, snacks, and enough queue-line anticipation to power a small municipality.
The company was branded as Cedar Fair Entertainment Company while its formal name remained Cedar Fair, L.P. By 2023, its portfolio included 13 amusement, water-park, and resort properties. Cedar Point remained the home-base icon: a lakeside collection of steel, wood, noise, and cherished vacation logistics.
On July 1, 2024, Cedar Fair combined with former Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. The resulting business took the name Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, and the Cedar Fair partnership dissolved—one more corporate thrill ride arriving at its final brake run.
Our Cedar Fair collection celebrates the bright signage, coaster-engineering bravado, park-map optimism, and wonderfully excessive regional-entertainment empire that made “FUN” feel like a corporate operating principle.
