Ghost Corp Apparel — resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.

Founded in Amarillo, Texas, in 1968, Hastings Entertainment became the kind of store where you could walk in for a CD and somehow leave with a book, a DVD, a video game, a comic book, and something you absolutely did not plan on buying.

Hastings managed to outlive both Blockbuster and Hollywood Video by constantly reinventing itself, eventually becoming one of the country’s largest comic book retailers. But even a store selling nearly every form of entertainment known to mankind couldn’t completely outrun the shift to digital media. After mounting debt and a 2016 bankruptcy, all remaining Hastings stores were liquidated and closed.

Turns out “we sell everything” still has trouble competing with “just download it.”
