OneJet

Ghost Corp Apparel — resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.

OneJet, Inc. was a U.S. virtual airline built around nonstop service for business travelers in smaller and midsize markets. The company launched scheduled flights on April 6, 2015, initially linking Indianapolis and Milwaukee with seven-seat Hawker 400 business jets flown under public-charter arrangements. It sold a shortcut around the hub-and-spoke grind: normal airline terminals, compact aircraft, no connection bingo.

At launch, OneJet was headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a service headquarters at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Its operational center of gravity later shifted to Pittsburgh: the company moved its operating base there in 2016, and reporting in 2017 described it as headquartered in Pittsburgh. It expanded from Pittsburgh and later established a Milwaukee operating base, chasing underserved city pairs.

The flights were operated by certificated partners rather than by OneJet itself, including Pentastar Aviation, Corporate Flight Management, and Ultimate Jetcharters. In May 2018, OneJet announced plans to acquire Ultimate Jetcharters and Ultimate Air Shuttle. That deal collapsed in August.

OneJet suspended all flights and closed bookings on August 29, 2018, while saying it intended to transition to its own operating certificate. Service did not return, and an involuntary Chapter 7 bankruptcy order followed on November 13, 2018. A short run, a big business-traveler pitch, and a very 2010s answer to the question: why is this a four-hour connection?

Our OneJet collection celebrates the brisk little airline that tried to make the middle-market nonstop feel big-league—one tiny jet, one direct route, and one delightfully ambitious boarding pass at a time.
