Product Details & Size Guide
GhostCorp Apparel - resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.
Bring a little airline-history conversation to the course with these Aerodynamics Inc. golf balls. ADI’s uncommon path took it from charter flying to scheduled routes under the Great Lakes Jet Express name, including a short-lived connection between Youngstown and Chicago in 2016. Later ownership changes closed its chapter as an independent carrier. For golfers who follow regional aviation, collect airline keepsakes, or appreciate the stories behind changing company names, this set offers a distinctive nod to ADI’s history.
Aerodynamics Inc. (ADI) was an American charter airline based in Kennesaw, Georgia. Its website claimed the company was founded in 1959. The airline filed for Chapter 11 reorganization in August 2013, and a contract aircraft-maintenance operation it owned at Oakland County International Airport closed in 2012. After emerging from bankruptcy with new financing and leadership, ADI was purchased from Scott Beale by John and Janet Beardsley in 2015. In 2016, it began scheduled Essential Air Service flights under the Great Lakes Jet Express name and a codeshare agreement with Great Lakes Airlines. Its first scheduled flight, between Youngstown, Ohio, and Chicago, began July 1, 2016; that service ended August 17. Flights linking Denver with Pierre and Watertown, South Dakota, began August 15, 2016. In 2017, ADI bid for service as SkyValue Airlines. California Pacific Airlines purchased ADI on May 29, 2018, including four aircraft and its Pierre and Watertown contract. ADI briefly operated as California Pacific on those routes. California Pacific suspended West Coast service in December 2018 and its Essential Air Service flights in January 2019. ADI had ceased operating as an independent airline after its 2018 purchase.
