Bring Afghan Jet International Airlines into relaxed gatherings with a can cooler inspired by a distinctive chapter of regional aviation. The carrier operated from Kabul and served airports within Afghanistan, with its destinations listed in August 2014. It ceased operations on June 15, 2016, while its single aircraft was at Maastricht Aachen Airport for maintenance. The aircraft’s stay continued until its 2025 auction to meet storage costs. For airline-history collectors, this design recalls both the carrier’s Afghan service and its documented final chapter in the Netherlands.
Afghan Jet International Airlines was a regional airline based in Afghanistan, with its headquarters in Kabul and operations based at Hamid Karzai International Airport. The airline served five airports, all within Afghanistan. Destinations listed for the carrier were current as of August 2014. Its fleet was described as consisting of a single aircraft in August 2016. That aircraft was parked at Maastricht Aachen Airport for maintenance when the airline ceased operations on June 15, 2016. It remained at the airport until 2025, when it was auctioned to pay storage costs. The available history records no merger, predecessor, successor, or later brand transition. These details place the airline within Afghanistan’s regional aviation history and trace its final aircraft from its Kabul-based operation to long-term storage in the Netherlands.
