Its international presence included India, Israel, China, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Spain. In 2007, Agere merged into LSI Corporation. Avago Technologies acquired LSI in 2014. In early 2016, Avago acquired the former Broadcom Corporation and adopted the Broadcom Inc. name.
