Product Details & Size Guide
Celebrate the short-lived AirTran JetConnect chapter with this Cuffed Beanie, a wearable nod to the regional service that connected Atlanta with smaller eastern cities. JetConnect began flying in November 2002 with CRJ200 aircraft in AirTran livery, then concluded regional jet operations in 2004. This company-specific piece suits airline history fans, former travelers, and collectors drawn to the changing names and banners of regional aviation. Make it part of a casual outfit or choose it for someone who remembers AirTran’s distinctive regional brand.
AirTran JetConnect was the regional service brand of AirTran Airways, operating from the airline’s Atlanta hub. Announced on September 26, 2002, it began flying on November 15, initially serving Greensboro, Pensacola, and Savannah before expanding to 18 cities across the eastern United States. Regional carrier Air Wisconsin operated ten Bombardier CRJ200 jets in AirTran livery, with JetConnect branding beside the AirTran logo. The flights served shorter routes where AirTran considered its Boeing 717 and Airbus A320 aircraft too large to operate economically. On March 5, 2004, AirTran announced the service would end, concluding regional jet operations in August. AirTran’s analysis found it could operate the Boeing 717 more efficiently on those routes. Air Wisconsin returned the jets to the United Express fleet; they were later repainted in US Airways colors, and the carrier operated under the US Airways Express banner. Following the US Airways merger with American Airlines, Air Wisconsin operated as an American Eagle regional air carrier. AirTran later resumed regional service from Milwaukee in December 2009 with SkyWest Airlines, but without the JetConnect brand; that operation ended in September 2011.

This cuffed beanie carries a lived-in street energy—soft, warm, and quietly bold. The low-profile embroidery sits on the cuff like a personal insignia: a small, slightly distressed logo with a touch of red that reads as both vintage and current. It slips on easily and stays put through commutes, late-night walks, and chilly market runs, adding a subtle graphic edge without shouting.
Wear it with a worn denim jacket, layered knit, or an oversized coat. It works for creatives who like to curate a look that’s casual but considered, for city cyclists who need dependable warmth, or for anyone who favors compact, tactile details. The hypoallergenic acrylic knit keeps things comfortable against the skin while the 12" cuff gives you styling flexibility—fold it high for warmth or roll it low for a slouchier silhouette. This is a small, everyday piece that quietly completes an outfit and ages into its own personality.
