GhostCorp Apparel - resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.

Add a note of regional history to a desk with a sticky note pad honoring Alabama National BanCorporation. The company’s path from Birmingham and Decatur community banks to a presence across Alabama, Florida, and Georgia reflects decades of local growth and consolidation. Its 2008 acquisition by RBC Bank and the 2012 transition of branches to PNC provide a concise thread through changing Southern financial brands. A useful desk keepsake for former customers, bank-history collectors, and local-history enthusiasts.

Alabama National BanCorporation was a Birmingham, Alabama-based bank holding company built through acquisitions and expansion across the Southeast. National Bank of Commerce of Birmingham began in 1965 as a family-owned community bank and became publicly traded in 1995. First American Bank of Decatur began in 1981; that year James A. Taylor also bought First National Bank of Ashland and later formed a holding company, serving as its chairman. By 1993, additional banks and a savings and loan had joined the growing organization. Alabama National acquired First American in 1997 and entered Florida that year, then expanded into Georgia in 1998. Its banking subsidiaries generally continued using their own names, while First American became a prominent operating name in much of Alabama. In 2004, a deal involving National Bank of Commerce expanded First American to $2.5 billion in assets and 33 locations; First Citizens Bank of Talladega joined it in 2005. By 2008, Alabama National had $7.9 billion in assets. RBC Bank completed its $1.6 billion purchase on February 26, 2008, adding branches in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. On March 4, 2012, PNC Bank branches replaced RBC Bank branches after PNC acquired RBC's American assets.

Keep a stack by the phone for action items, stash a pad in your planner for weekly priorities, or place one on a conference table where everyone can jot a quick note. The adhesive holds through handling but releases cleanly when you move items around. For people who prefer minimal branding and maximum writing space, these pads help keep thoughts visible and tasks moving forward without shouting for attention.
