GhostCorp Apparel - resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.

Carry the story of AZN Television into your daily routine. The channel began in 1990 as the International Channel, then shifted toward Asian audiences before adopting the AZN name in March 2005. Its schedule brought shows from countries including India, Thailand, Singapore and Japan to American viewers, alongside original productions. This travel mug celebrates a distinctive, short-lived network and its place in the changing history of specialty cable, multicultural programming and Asian-American television. A memorable choice for longtime viewers and collectors.

AZN Television was an American cable channel that began as the International Channel in July 1990. It was initially owned by a joint venture in which Liberty Media held a 90 percent stake and JJS II Communications held 10 percent. Led by George Leitner, the channel offered news, sports, music and entertainment in 17 languages by 1993, reaching more than three million households. Its early schedule included programming from Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and it developed original shows alongside imported programs. Comcast acquired parent company International Networks in July 2004. During the final quarter of that year, the channel began shifting toward Asian audiences, gradually removing European and Middle Eastern programming. The repositioning was announced in January 2005, and on March 28 the International Channel was renamed AZN Television, with a focus on Asian and Asian-American culture. Its schedule featured programs from countries including India, Thailand, Singapore and Japan, as well as original productions such as Asia Street Comedy and Cinema AZN. In January 2008, Comcast announced the channel's closure and the move of the Asian Excellence Awards to E!. AZN Television left the air on April 9, 2008.
