GhostCorp Apparel - resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.
Raise a glass to a company whose changing name tracked a changing world of freight. BAX Global began in 1972 as Burlington Northern Airfreight, became Burlington Air Express in 1986, and took its global name in 1997. This pint glass brings that distinctive chapter of transportation history to casual gatherings, home bars, and collection displays. A thoughtful pick for former freight workers, aviation enthusiasts, and collectors drawn to the stories behind familiar business names.
BAX Global began business on June 15, 1972, in ten U.S. cities as Burlington Northern Airfreight, Inc. (BNAFI), a subsidiary of Burlington Northern Railroad. In 1982, the Pittston Company acquired BNAFI; Pittston later became Brink's. The company adopted the name Burlington Air Express in 1986 and repositioned itself as an overnight air express company. It acquired WTC Air Freight in 1987 and the assets of failed air freight carrier Roadway Global Air from Caliber System in 1995. In 1997, it became BAX Global, a name reflecting expansion across all continents. Headquartered in Irvine, California, it also had major offices in Australia, Singapore, London, the Netherlands and Toledo, Ohio. On January 31, 2006, DB Logistics, Deutsche Bahn's transportation and logistics division, acquired BAX Global from Brink's for $1.1 billion and integrated it with Schenker, its land, sea and air freight branch. Air Transport International, which had operated dedicated aircraft for Burlington Air Express, was sold to Cargo Holdings International when BAX Global was sold; it remained under contract to provide dedicated lift. In July 2011, Schenker Inc. announced it would end domestic airfreight activity in the United States, Canada and Mexico and stop using its remaining 20 aircraft, as cargo was moving by truck.

A sturdy 16oz pint glass that brings a little roadhouse spirit to everyday pours. The clear tempered glass showcases whatever you fill it with — amber beer, cold brew, or fresh juice — while a bold vintage-inspired script wraps the side for a subtle, nostalgic touch. It feels solid in the hand, resists everyday wear, and pairs easily with bar carts, kitchen counters, or a laid-back backyard table. Wash gently by hand to keep the lettering sharp and the glass crystal-clear. Built from tempered materials and assembled in the USA, this glass fits into evenings spent swapping stories, weekend morning routines, or those slow, quiet moments when a simple drink matters.
