Bring a piece of early commercial aviation history to your glassware collection with this Bowen Air Lines pint glass. Founded in Fort Worth, the airline began service in 1930, carrying passengers and express packages between Chicago and Brownsville. Its story includes Lockheed Vega aircraft, millions of miles flown, and a place in the growth of Texas air travel. Whether you are raising a glass at home or sharing a conversation about aviation history, this design honors a short-lived airline with a lasting story.
Bowen Air Lines was founded by Temple Bowen in Fort Worth, Texas, and began operations on 1 September 1930. It carried passengers and express packages to selected destinations between Chicago, Illinois, and Brownsville, Texas. The airline began with five Lockheed Vega aircraft and later added a Lockheed Sirius, two Lockheed Model 9 Orion aircraft, including the prototype, and two Vultee V-1 aircraft. Over its years of operation, Bowen Air Lines flew more than 4,000,000 miles and carried 45,000 passengers. The company ceased operations on 15 February 1936 after it was unable to obtain an airmail contract from the United States Post Office Department. Most of its assets were purchased by Braniff Airways; the Vultee aircraft were sold to American Airlines. Bowen Air Lines thus links early Texas aviation, the development of commercial passenger and express service, and the later transfer of aircraft and other assets to established carriers.

A sturdy 16oz pint glass that brings a little roadhouse spirit to everyday pours. The clear tempered glass showcases whatever you fill it with — amber beer, cold brew, or fresh juice — while a bold vintage-inspired script wraps the side for a subtle, nostalgic touch. It feels solid in the hand, resists everyday wear, and pairs easily with bar carts, kitchen counters, or a laid-back backyard table. Wash gently by hand to keep the lettering sharp and the glass crystal-clear. Built from tempered materials and assembled in the USA, this glass fits into evenings spent swapping stories, weekend morning routines, or those slow, quiet moments when a simple drink matters.
