Centurion Air Cargo Cuffed Beanie
The Centurion Air Cargo Cuffed Beanie offers a wearable connection to a distinctive chapter in Miami aviation history. Established as Challenge Air Cargo in 1985, the airline became independent the next year, then continued under the Centurion name from 2001. Its Miami International Airport cargo center opened in 2013, bringing the company’s identity together with a landmark in cargo operations. Made for aviation fans, airline history collectors, and anyone who appreciates the stories behind air freight.
Centurion Air Cargo, which operated as Centurion Cargo, was an American cargo airline based in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Its history began in 1985, when it was established as Challenge Air Cargo, a subsidiary of Challenge Air Transport. The airline became independent of Challenge Air Transport in 1986. In 2001, after United Parcel Service took over the scheduled business, a new company was formed as Centurion Air Cargo to take over Challenge’s air operating certificate. Centurion also operated the Centurion Cargo Center, a cargo terminal at Miami International Airport that opened in 2013. The facility covered 1,400,000 square feet and included a 550,000-square-foot warehouse with cold and dry storage. It was described as North America’s largest privately owned, all-cargo airline facility before its operation shut down. Following financial difficulties and an inability to restructure its operations, the airline surrendered its operating certificate to the Federal Aviation Administration in June 2018. The supplied history therefore links the Centurion name to the earlier Challenge Air Cargo operation and to a major Miami cargo facility.

This cuffed beanie carries a lived-in street energy—soft, warm, and quietly bold. The low-profile embroidery sits on the cuff like a personal insignia: a small, slightly distressed logo with a touch of red that reads as both vintage and current. It slips on easily and stays put through commutes, late-night walks, and chilly market runs, adding a subtle graphic edge without shouting.
Wear it with a worn denim jacket, layered knit, or an oversized coat. It works for creatives who like to curate a look that’s casual but considered, for city cyclists who need dependable warmth, or for anyone who favors compact, tactile details. The hypoallergenic acrylic knit keeps things comfortable against the skin while the 12" cuff gives you styling flexibility—fold it high for warmth or roll it low for a slouchier silhouette. This is a small, everyday piece that quietly completes an outfit and ages into its own personality.
