Product Details & Size Guide

GhostCorp Apparel - resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.

Celebrate an uncommon name in Spanish motoring with this Metal Bottle Opener. Clúa began in Barcelona in 1949 and built motorcycles including the MC-75, which debuted in 1951. Its ambitions later reached beyond two wheels: the Clúa 500 roadster was presented at the 1957 Barcelona Trade Fair, though production difficulties made the project short-lived. This keepsake connects everyday use with a fascinating story of regional engineering, and makes a thoughtful pick for motorcycle and microcar collectors.

Clúa was a Spanish motorcycle and microcar brand made by Construcciones Metálicas Clúa, a company founded and owned by Joan Clúa i Maluquer. It operated from 1949 to 1962, with its headquarters at 6 Avenida de Pau Casals in Barcelona, then called Avenida General Goded, and its assembly line on Carrer d'Espronceda. The company built its first motorcycle, the MC-75, in 1951 and developed a range of 50, 75, 125 and 175 cc motorcycles and tricycles. Its 125 cc range expanded in 1953, and the 125-Rapita followed in 1954. In 1955, Clúa began work on the Clúa 500, a small roadster-type microcar. Catalan coachbuilder Pedro Serra designed its plastic body, drawing inspiration from the Pegaso Z-102. The car was presented at the 1957 Barcelona Trade Fair, but manufacturing defects in sourced sheet metal led the company to refund customers who had ordered one. The final example was sold in 1960, and the company went bankrupt in 1962. An estimated 100 Clúa 500s were produced.

This slim, all-metal bottle opener feels like the trusted tool you reach for when friends gather and stories start. Forged from heavy-duty stainless steel, it slides into a pocket or bartending apron without bulk, then delivers confident leverage when a cold drink needs freeing. The flat surface accepts crisp laser engraving, so names, dates, or logos stay sharp through years of use. Use it behind the home bar, at backyard tailgates, or hand one to each member of your wedding party — it’s built to take commercial-level wear while still looking clean and refined. Simple, sturdy, and ready for the next toast.
