GhostCorp Apparel - resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.

Add a little aviation history to notes, reminders, and planning with this DayJet Corporation sticky note pad. DayJet launched its Florida-based on-demand jet taxi service in October 2007, pursuing a distinctive idea: making jet travel available by the seat. Its expansion plans and September 2008 flight suspension mark a concise story of startup ambition and change. A useful keepsake for aviation enthusiasts, business-history readers, and collectors interested in the companies that tried to reshape regional travel.

DayJet was a Florida commercial aviation company founded by Ed Iacobucci and network architect Nancy Lee Iacobucci. Based in Delray Beach, it launched in October 2007 with an on-demand jet taxi concept using Eclipse 500 very light jets. The company raised $61 million in venture funding, reached a five-year agreement with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, and purchased 28 aircraft. Its first delivery of three jets took place on March 31, 2007. DayJet was Eclipse Aviation's largest customer, with 239 aircraft orders and a planned eventual delivery of 1,400. In May 2008, it cut 100 to 160 jobs and sold or leased 16 aircraft as it sought further investment. It added Jacksonville and Sarasota as Florida hub airports in May, followed by Saint Petersburg/Clearwater and Orlando in July. On September 19, 2008, during the financial crisis, DayJet suspended flights, canceled reservations, and announced a management change; Iacobucci stepped down as president and CEO, while John Staten became interim CEO. Eclipse Aviation later brokered the fleet sale. A proposed purchase by OurPlane did not proceed, and the aircraft passed to Eclipse Aerospace after it acquired Eclipse Aviation assets in August 2009. DayJet Technologies, its technology subsidiary, was taken over by investors and attempted to continue as a private technology company.

Keep a stack by the phone for action items, stash a pad in your planner for weekly priorities, or place one on a conference table where everyone can jot a quick note. The adhesive holds through handling but releases cleanly when you move items around. For people who prefer minimal branding and maximum writing space, these pads help keep thoughts visible and tasks moving forward without shouting for attention.
