GhostCorp Apparel - resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.
Honor the story of Delta Air Transport, founded in Antwerp in 1966 with three Cessna aircraft and a focus on air-taxi and charter flying. In 1967, the Belgian carrier began scheduled Antwerp to Amsterdam service for KLM, opening a chapter in regional aviation that collectors still remember. Its changing roles alongside KLM and Sabena, and its later DAT Belgian Regional Airline and DAT Plus identities, make this polo a thoughtful choice for admirers of Belgian airline history and European short-haul travel.
Delta Air Transport (DAT) was founded in Antwerp, Belgium, in June 1966 by Frans Van den Bergh, initially providing air-taxi and charter services with three Cessna aircraft. Flight operations began in 1967, and on September 19 that year DAT started scheduled service from Antwerp to Amsterdam for KLM, using Beechcraft Queen Air feeder aircraft. Its fleet later expanded to include Douglas DC-3, CV440 and DC-6 aircraft, supporting charter work for KLM, Sabena, Crossair and BIAS. Compagnie Maritime Belge acquired a majority stake in 1973. A leased Boeing 720 briefly supported worldwide charter flights under the Delta International brand. Sabena acquired a 49 percent stake in 1986, and in 1996 bought KLM’s remaining share. DAT then became a wholly owned Sabena subsidiary, moved its headquarters to Brussels and adopted the name DAT Belgian Regional Airline. After Sabena collapsed in November 2001, DAT restarted flights and adopted the DAT Plus brand under SN Airholding. Its activities continued as SN Brussels Airlines and were ultimately absorbed into Brussels Airlines on March 25, 2007, after that carrier merged with Virgin Express.
