Introduce a little one to a story from Angolan aviation history with this Diexim Expresso Infant Bodysuit. Established in 2003, the Luanda-based airline connected towns and cities across Angola and also offered VIP flights and charters in Angola and to Namibia. Its main base was Quatro de Fevereiro Airport, and its history includes a safety-related EU restriction dated 14 November 2008, followed by the end of operations around that period. A meaningful pick for aviation-minded families and collectors who enjoy sharing stories of regional airlines and their place in history.
Diexim Expresso Aviação, operating as Diexim Expresso, was an Angolan airline based in Luanda. Established in 2003, it was wholly owned by Grupo BD-Bartolomeu Dias. Its main base was Quatro de Fevereiro Airport in Luanda. The airline operated scheduled services connecting major towns and cities within Angola, alongside VIP flights and charter services in Angola and to Namibia. On 14 November 2008, it was added to the European Union list of air carriers banned from operating in the region, following safety concerns. The airline ceased operations around this period. A record of destinations served was published for November 2009, and fleet information was recorded as of April 2012. These later reference points document the airline’s place in aviation history, rather than indicating that it continued flying through those dates. Diexim Expresso’s history is associated with Angola’s domestic air links, Luanda’s role as its operating base, and the company’s ownership by Grupo BD-Bartolomeu Dias.
