iAero Airways was an American charter airline based in Greensboro, North Carolina, with its main hub at Miami International Airport. The company began in 1997 as Swift Air and became a customer for the Embraer ERJ-135. In November 2006, Swift Air received authorization for Part 121 operations and began flying three Boeing 737-400 aircraft configured with first-class interiors, electrical outlets, and club work areas. The carrier served VIP charter and professional sports travel markets. In 2011, it briefly flew planned public charter routes from Chicago to Belgrade, Zagreb, and Krakow, then resumed Part 121 service after a voluntary suspension. Swift Air acquired Boeing 737-800 assets from Eastern Air Lines in 2017 and later operated Cuba charters for Havana Air. In May 2019, Swift became an iAero Group subsidiary and completed its iAero Airways rebrand by December 31, 2019. Following bankruptcy proceedings, operations ended April 6, 2024, and the case converted to Chapter 7 liquidation on April 15.
