GhostCorp Apparel - resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.

Take the Iowa, Chicago and Eastern Railroad story along for a round with golf balls made for rail-minded players and collectors. IC&E began operations in 2002 after acquiring I&M Rail Link assets, serving a wide Midwestern network from Davenport, Iowa. Its history brings together routes linked with Milwaukee Road and Soo Line, its years alongside DM&E, and its later Canadian Pacific connection. A distinctive choice for golfers who follow freight rail history and appreciate the regional companies that carried the story forward.

The Iowa, Chicago and Eastern Railroad, known by the reporting mark ICE, began operations on July 30, 2002, after taking over the assets and operations of I&M Rail Link. Based in Davenport, Iowa, it operated about 1,400 miles of track across Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Much of its Illinois and Iowa route had once belonged to the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad. The Soo Line Railroad, a Canadian Pacific subsidiary, acquired the Milwaukee Road in 1986 and operated those lines. Canadian Pacific offered northern Illinois and Iowa routes for sale in 1997; I&M Rail Link bought them later that year. In 2002, the Dakota, Minnesota and Eastern Railroad acquired I&M Rail Link’s assets and formed IC&E. Cedar American Rail Holdings jointly owned IC&E and DM&E. After five years of growth, Canadian Pacific announced plans in 2007 to acquire both railroads. The purchase was approved in 2008, and Canadian Pacific assumed control of IC&E on October 30. On December 26, IC&E merged into Cedar American Rail Holdings, which immediately merged into DM&E. In 2023, DM&E and IC&E became subsidiaries of Canadian Pacific Kansas City following the merger of Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern.
