Martz Sr. helped establish the National Trailways Bus System, an alliance of carriers forming a national bus network. After his death in 1936, his son Frank Martz Jr. took over; following Martz Jr.’s death in 1964, ownership passed to founder’s grandson Frank M. Henry. Ownership remains within the family, with fourth-generation president Scott Henry. The company is headquartered in Wilkes-Barre and operates services under brands including Martz Trailways, Martz Tours, Gold Line, Gray Line, National Coach Works, and First Class Coach Company Trailways. In 2016, Martz Group rebranded, added 116 coaches and operations in Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Florida, and introduced Martz Luxury Service.
