GhostCorp Apparel - resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.

Celebrate the unusual ambition of MAXjet Airways with a hoodie or sweatshirt connected to its brief transatlantic story. Founded in 2003, the American carrier opened New York to London service in 2005 and moved beyond an early low-cost concept to focus on premium all-business-class travel. Its scheduled network from London Stansted included major United States destinations, while charter flights broadened its reach. MAXjet ceased operations in December 2007, making this a meaningful choice for aviation enthusiasts drawn to the history of small, specialized airlines.

Founded in 2003, MAXjet Airways was an American airline created to connect transatlantic travelers with an all-business-class service. Its original plan was a low-cost model with domestic-carrier connections at Baltimore-Washington International Airport; during its start-up, management reconsidered the economics of that approach and repositioned the company as a premium service for premium-economy and business-class passengers. Headquartered in the Dulles area of Loudoun County, Virginia, the airline began its first New York–London service on 1 November 2005. Its scheduled network linked London Stansted with New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and it also developed luxury charter operations serving destinations in Europe, the Caribbean and the United States. MAXjet was publicly traded on the London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market under the symbol MAXJ. At its operational peak, it had no more than five aircraft. On 7 December 2007, trading in its shares was suspended; on 24 December, it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and permanently stopped flying, citing rising fuel costs, higher crew salaries and other unforeseen costs. Eos Airlines was to accommodate passengers on Stansted–JFK services. A proposed 2008 restart as a charter operator following an acquisition by NCA Sports Group did not proceed.
