Raise a glass to a distinctive chapter in American airline history. Midway Airlines began flying in November 1993, linking Chicago Midway and New York LaGuardia before building its defining hub at Raleigh-Durham. Its changing routes and aircraft reflected a carrier in motion, from Fokker 100s to regional jets. This pint glass brings that story to the table for aviation collectors, former travelers, and anyone who remembers the airline’s place in the East Coast skies.

Midway Airlines operated in the United States from November 1993 to October 30, 2003. Formed from Jet Express, a commuter carrier that provided code-sharing feeder services for Trans World Airlines and USAir, it began with flights between Chicago Midway and New York LaGuardia using two Fokker 100s. The airline built a small Chicago hub before moving to North Carolina in early 1995, establishing a hub at Raleigh-Durham International Airport and eventually moving its headquarters to Morrisville. At its peak, it offered almost 200 daily flights from Raleigh-Durham to 33 destinations. Its fleet included Fokker 100s, Airbus A320s, Bombardier CRJ-200s, and Boeing 737-700s. After filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August 2001, it stopped flying in September, resumed service in December, and discontinued its 737 operation in July 2002. In February 2003, it returned as a US Airways Express operator with regional jets from Raleigh-Durham and Washington Reagan National. Unable to secure enough capital, it ceased operations in October 2003 and entered Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

A sturdy 16oz pint glass that brings a little roadhouse spirit to everyday pours. The clear tempered glass showcases whatever you fill it with — amber beer, cold brew, or fresh juice — while a bold vintage-inspired script wraps the side for a subtle, nostalgic touch. It feels solid in the hand, resists everyday wear, and pairs easily with bar carts, kitchen counters, or a laid-back backyard table. Wash gently by hand to keep the lettering sharp and the glass crystal-clear. Built from tempered materials and assembled in the USA, this glass fits into evenings spent swapping stories, weekend morning routines, or those slow, quiet moments when a simple drink matters.
