Its first Ogren Six appeared in July 1920, powered by a 65-horsepower Beaver engine, compared with 34 horsepower in the earlier cars. In 1922, Ogren replaced the Beaver engine with a more powerful Continental engine; prices ranged from $4,250 to $5,500. Late that year, Hugo Ogren left for another automobile venture, and Fred G. Smith took over, with limited success in reorganizing the company. In January 1924, its tools and property were sold to Huffman Bros. Motor Co. of Elkhart, Indiana.
