GhostCorp Apparel - resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.
OneJet’s name recalls a brief chapter of point-to-point regional air travel, from its first announced Indianapolis to Milwaukee route to later service linking Pittsburgh with several cities. This luggage tag brings that documented airline story along on your own journeys, whether you collect aviation memorabilia or simply appreciate the history of changing routes and operating partners. OneJet began as PrimAir, adopted its better-known name in 2014, and suspended all service in August 2018.
OneJet was a U.S. virtual airline established in 2009 as PrimAir and rebranded in 2014. It arranged scheduled point-to-point flights through public charter operations, using ordinary airport passenger terminals and gates. Its first announced route connected Indianapolis International Airport and Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport, with weekday round trips beginning April 6, 2015. Pittsburgh service followed in May 2015. In April 2016, OneJet announced that it would move its operations base from Indianapolis to Pittsburgh and that Corporate Flight Management would replace Pentastar Aviation as operator. Flights resumed under the new operator in June 2016, linking Pittsburgh with Hartford, Indianapolis, and Milwaukee. Milwaukee became a second base in October 2017, followed by planned service to Columbus and Omaha. OneJet announced a proposed acquisition of Ultimate Jetcharters and Ultimate Air Shuttle in May 2018, but the deal fell through. All service was suspended on August 29, 2018, after Ultimate Jetcharters ended its OneJet flights. OneJet did not hold its own air operator’s certificate when operations ended. In November 2018, airport authorities in Albany, Buffalo, and Pittsburgh filed an involuntary Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceeding. OneJet aircraft were sold or transferred to Contour Airlines public charter services.
