Raise a glass to Shoreline Aviation, the Connecticut carrier that brought seaplane travel to a distinctive corner of Northeast aviation. Founded in 1980, Shoreline began seaplane operations the following year and became the first commercial operator of the Cessna Caravan Amphibian in 1987. This pint glass recalls a story shaped by New Haven, Manhattan, and the Hamptons, as well as seasonal journeys south to Florida and the Caribbean. A thoughtful keepsake for aviation enthusiasts and former passengers.
Shoreline Aviation, Inc. was founded by John Kelly in April 1980 and began operations at the former Griswold Airport in Madison, Connecticut. The company started operating seaplanes in 1981 and, in 1987, became the first commercial operator of the Cessna Caravan Amphibian. Based at Tweed New Haven Airport in New Haven, it operated year-round on-demand charter flights across the Northeast, shifting resources seasonally to South Florida, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. Shoreline helped establish seaplane connections between lower Manhattan and the Hamptons, and offered scheduled shuttle flights as well as land- and water-based charters. In 2016 it announced a seasonal New Haven–East River service called The Weekend New Yorker. Its fleet included ten Cessna 208 Caravan turboprop seaplanes, many fitted with an upgraded engine conversion. Shoreline ceased operations on April 1, 2020. Cape Air acquired most of its assets and later liquidated aircraft and personal property. Former Shoreline employees and investors then purchased Fly the Whale, which continued operations from Shoreline's hangar and facilities.

A sturdy 16oz pint glass that brings a little roadhouse spirit to everyday pours. The clear tempered glass showcases whatever you fill it with — amber beer, cold brew, or fresh juice — while a bold vintage-inspired script wraps the side for a subtle, nostalgic touch. It feels solid in the hand, resists everyday wear, and pairs easily with bar carts, kitchen counters, or a laid-back backyard table. Wash gently by hand to keep the lettering sharp and the glass crystal-clear. Built from tempered materials and assembled in the USA, this glass fits into evenings spent swapping stories, weekend morning routines, or those slow, quiet moments when a simple drink matters.
