Product Details & Size Guide

GhostCorp Apparel - resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.

Keep ideas close with a sticky note pad celebrating Silicon Graphics, the company whose specialized workstations helped shape professional 3D visualization. Founded in Mountain View in 1981, SGI expanded from graphics hardware into software and high-performance systems, becoming a memorable name for computer enthusiasts and collectors. Its history also reflects the changing fortunes of workstation and supercomputer businesses. A practical desk companion for people who appreciate computing history, technical creativity, and the lasting influence of graphics innovation.

Silicon Graphics, Inc. was an American high-performance computing company founded in Mountain View, California, in 1981 by computer scientist James H. Clark and colleagues from Stanford University. Its early workstations used specialized geometry hardware developed from research at Stanford, helping establish the company in 3D graphics. The business grew under CEO Ed McCracken, who led it from 1984 to 1997, and expanded into graphics software and high-performance systems. In 1995, it acquired Alias Research and Wavefront Technologies; in 1996, it acquired Cray Research, later selling Cray's product lines in 2000. In 1999, the company adopted SGI as its corporate identity while retaining its legal name. Pressure from increasingly capable personal computers and a costly shift from MIPS systems toward Intel architectures contributed to its decline. SGI entered bankruptcy protection in 2006, emerged later that year, and filed again in April 2009. Rackable Systems acquired substantially all of its assets in May 2009 and adopted the name Silicon Graphics International. The remaining company became Graphics Properties Holdings. Hewlett Packard Enterprise acquired Silicon Graphics International in 2016.

Keep a stack by the phone for action items, stash a pad in your planner for weekly priorities, or place one on a conference table where everyone can jot a quick note. The adhesive holds through handling but releases cleanly when you move items around. For people who prefer minimal branding and maximum writing space, these pads help keep thoughts visible and tasks moving forward without shouting for attention.
