Product Details & Size Guide

GhostCorp Apparel - resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.

Singer Motors started with bicycles in Coventry in 1874, then entered motor vehicle production in 1901 and went on to build cars that marked several eras of British motoring. From the popular Singer Ten to postwar models such as the Roadster and Hunter, each chapter adds to the marque’s appeal for collectors. This bottle opener brings that story to a useful gathering keepsake for car enthusiasts, workshop friends and fans of the Singer name.

George Singer began making bicycles in Coventry, England, in 1874, founding Singer & Co with his brother-in-law J. E. Stringer. The business added motor vehicles in 1901, first using a compact engine built into a wheel, then producing motorcycles, tricycles and cars. Its 1912 Singer Ten, a sturdy four-cylinder economy car, became a major seller. After Singer’s death, the company expanded its car range and grew into one of Britain’s leading manufacturers in the 1920s. Financial strain and declining sales led to Singer & Co Limited being dissolved in December 1936; its business passed to the newly formed Singer Motors Limited. After the Second World War, models included the Roadster, Ten, Twelve and 1948 SM1500, later renamed the Hunter. The business was in financial difficulty by 1955, and the Rootes Group acquired it in 1956. Singer cars then shared engineering and platforms with Rootes models: the Gazelle was based on the Hillman Minx, while the Vogue drew on the Hillman Super Minx. The final Singer, the Chamois, left the assembly line in April 1970, ending a vehicle-making story that had begun nearly a century earlier.

This slim, all-metal bottle opener feels like the trusted tool you reach for when friends gather and stories start. Forged from heavy-duty stainless steel, it slides into a pocket or bartending apron without bulk, then delivers confident leverage when a cold drink needs freeing. The flat surface accepts crisp laser engraving, so names, dates, or logos stay sharp through years of use. Use it behind the home bar, at backyard tailgates, or hand one to each member of your wedding party — it’s built to take commercial-level wear while still looking clean and refined. Simple, sturdy, and ready for the next toast.
