GhostCorp Apparel - resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.
Keep cards together with a Star+ metal business card holder inspired by a distinctive chapter in streaming history. Star+ launched across Ibero-America in 2021, bringing entertainment, local originals and live sports into one regional service. After its content joined Disney+ in June 2024, the standalone platform was discontinued the following month. This business accessory suits collectors of media brands and anyone who remembers Star+ as part of a fast-changing international streaming era.
Star+ (also styled Star Plus) was a subscription streaming service owned by The Walt Disney Company through its Disney Entertainment division. It launched across Ibero-America on 31 August 2021, following a brand dispute that delayed its planned launch. The Star name had an earlier history: a Hong Kong-based satellite broadcaster founded in 1990, whose name stood for Satellite Television Asian Region, was acquired by News Corporation in 1993. Disney later acquired Star India and other Fox operations as part of its 21st Century Fox acquisition, completed on 20 March 2019. Announced in 2020 as an international general-entertainment brand, Star+ brought together films and television from Disney-related studios and other suppliers, locally produced originals, and live sports from ESPN. Its regional role was distinct from the Star content hub already included within Disney+ in several other countries. In December 2023, Disney announced plans to move the Star and ESPN hubs into Disney+. Star+ content merged into Disney+ on 26 June 2024, and the standalone service was discontinued on 24 July 2024.
