Introduce young aviation fans to Tafa Air, a short-lived carrier with a memorable place in Albanian airline history. Scheduled services began on 18 December 2009, connecting Tirana and Pristina with Athens. The airline flew one leased Boeing 737-300, and operations were suspended in early February 2010 after the lease ended. Its story also reflects travel links for Albanians living abroad. This kids tee offers a simple way to share an unusual chapter of flight history with curious young travelers and plane enthusiasts.
Tafa Air was a short-lived low-cost airline based in Tirana, Albania, created for Albanians living abroad, mostly in Germany. Founded by Albanian businessman Taf Tafa and supported by Albanian and Kosovan shareholders, the airline began scheduled services on 18 December 2009. Its flights operated from Tirana International Airport and Pristina International Airport to Athens International Airport. Tafa Air used a single leased Boeing 737-300. In early February 2010, Lithuanian airline flyLAL Charters ended the lease contract that supplied the aircraft, forcing Tafa Air to suspend operations. Tafa announced plans to restart services in late March or early April 2010, but the airline later dissolved. Its brief history links Albanian and Kosovan investment, diaspora-oriented travel, and scheduled routes connecting Tirana and Pristina with Athens. The available account records the planned restart but does not report that services resumed.
