Minolta

Ghost Corp Apparel — resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.

Founded in Japan in 1928, Minolta grew into one of the world’s best-known camera and optical companies, producing everything from compact cameras to highly regarded SLRs and pioneering technologies such as autofocus systems that helped shape modern photography.

For decades, the Minolta name was everywhere photographers looked — camera shops, family vacations, press bags, and probably at least one drawer full of film nobody ever developed.

Then digital photography changed the rules.

Minolta merged with Konica in 2003 to form Konica Minolta, and just a few years later the company exited the camera business entirely, transferring much of its camera technology to Sony.

From film rolls and autofocus innovation to becoming part of somebody else’s camera system.

Explore our Minolta collection celebrating one of the great names from photography’s pre-smartphone age.
