Their first concert took place at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles in 2013. As demand for traditional trailer music waned in the mid-2010s, the composers shifted toward varied public albums while also releasing more of their earlier catalog. Battlecry (2015), Unleashed (2017), and Myth (2022) each reached number one on the Billboard Classical Crossover Albums chart. The duo began European touring in 2022. In 2024, Bergersen and Phoenix announced they would go their separate ways, bringing Two Steps from Hell to an end.
