Ghost Corp Apparel — resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.

For most of the 20th century, the Bell System was essentially the telephone business in America. Built around AT&T and its network of regional Bell companies, “Ma Bell” connected homes, businesses, and long-distance calls from coast to coast — while also becoming one of the largest corporate empires the country had ever seen.

It worked a little too well. After years of antitrust battles, the Bell System was broken apart in 1984, creating the regional “Baby Bells” and ending an era when one corporate family controlled nearly everything from the telephone on your desk to the wires running across the country.

Ma Bell didn’t exactly die — she was just divided among the children.
