Atlantic Southeast Airlines Cuffed Beanie
Top off cold-weather days with a nod to Atlantic Southeast Airlines, the Atlanta-area regional carrier that began flying Twin Otters in 1979. ASA grew from commuter turboprops into Delta Connection jet service and later became part of ExpressJet. For aviation collectors and Atlanta airport regulars, this beanie keeps a memorable chapter of regional airline history close at hand.
Atlantic Southeast Airlines, Inc. was incorporated on March 12, 1979, in the Atlanta area and began operations on June 27 with three 19-seat de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otters flying between Atlanta and Columbus, Georgia. The carrier added Embraer EMB-110 turboprops in 1980, acquired Southeastern Airlines in 1983, and joined Delta Connection on May 1, 1984 as one of the program's first regional partners. ASA introduced BAe 146-200 jet service in 1995, followed by Canadair CRJ200 service from its Atlanta hub in 1997. Delta Air Lines acquired the remaining ownership of ASA in 1999; SkyWest, Inc. acquired it in 2005. Based in College Park, Georgia, ASA operated primarily from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and flew for Delta Connection, later beginning United Express service in February 2010. Following its 2010 merger with ExpressJet, ASA adopted the ExpressJet name and branding in 2011. The FAA approved a single operating certificate in November 2011, and flights thereafter operated under ExpressJet.

This cuffed beanie carries a lived-in street energy—soft, warm, and quietly bold. The low-profile embroidery sits on the cuff like a personal insignia: a small, slightly distressed logo with a touch of red that reads as both vintage and current. It slips on easily and stays put through commutes, late-night walks, and chilly market runs, adding a subtle graphic edge without shouting.
Wear it with a worn denim jacket, layered knit, or an oversized coat. It works for creatives who like to curate a look that’s casual but considered, for city cyclists who need dependable warmth, or for anyone who favors compact, tactile details. The hypoallergenic acrylic knit keeps things comfortable against the skin while the 12" cuff gives you styling flexibility—fold it high for warmth or roll it low for a slouchier silhouette. This is a small, everyday piece that quietly completes an outfit and ages into its own personality.
