Ghost Corp Apparel — resurrecting iconic corporate ghosts.

Founded as Atlantic Air in 1982 and renamed Business Express Airlines in 1985, “BizEx” grew into a major regional carrier serving business travelers throughout the Northeast. With hubs in Boston and New York, its fleet of turboprops and small jets connected dozens of cities while flying under the colors of Delta Connection, Northwest Airlink, and eventually American.

At one point, Business Express was even the largest airline at Boston Logan by number of daily departures — impressive for a carrier most people outside New England have probably never heard of.

But regional airlines have a habit of eventually becoming somebody else’s regional airline.

American’s parent company acquired Business Express in 1998, and by 2000 its operations were folded into American Eagle, bringing the BizEx name in for a final landing.

Three major airline partnerships. One very busy regional network. Zero surviving brand.
