Add a subtle piece of financial-history conversation to a desk, coffee table, or home bar with this Bear Stearns Ceramic Coaster. Bear Stearns was founded in 1923 and developed into a major securities and investment-banking firm with headquarters at 383 Madison Avenue in Manhattan. Though the name was retired in 2010 following the JPMorgan Chase merger, it continues to evoke New York brokerage culture and a defining period in Wall Street history. A memorable collectible for finance enthusiasts, alumni, and corporate identity collectors.

The Bear Stearns Companies, Inc. was an American holding company with investment banking, securities trading, and brokerage operations. It was founded on May 1, 1923, as an equity trading house by Joseph Ainslie Bear, Robert B. Stearns, and Harold C. Mayer. The firm survived the Wall Street Crash of 1929 without employee layoffs, opened its first branch in Chicago in 1933, and established its first international office in Amsterdam in 1955. Bear Stearns became publicly traded in 1985 and grew into the fifth-largest investment bank in the United States. Its world headquarters stood at 383 Madison Avenue in Manhattan, New York City. Led during key periods by Alan C. Greenberg, James Cayne, and Alan Schwartz, the firm operated across corporate finance, trading, asset management, clearing, and private client services. During the 2007–2008 financial crisis, exposure to subprime mortgages and a liquidity run undermined the company. Bear Stearns was merged with JPMorgan Chase in 2008, and JPMorgan stopped using the Bear Stearns name in January 2010.

Ceramic coaster engraved with a simple, vintage-style wordmark that brings a quiet, archival charm to a coffee table or office desk. The cool ceramic top takes heat and condensation with calm confidence while the cork backing keeps cups steady and surfaces safe. It sits easily beside a well-loved mug during long work sessions or late-night reading, a small, steady surface that feels both practical and quietly nostalgic.
