It developed through the 1985 merger of Houston Natural Gas and InterNorth, an Omaha, Nebraska-based energy company. InterNorth acquired Houston Natural Gas in May 1985, and the combined business adopted the Enron name later that year; its headquarters moved to Houston in 1986. The company expanded from pipeline operations into natural gas trading, electricity, overseas energy projects, communications, and other ventures. It acquired Portland General Electric in 1997 and introduced its tricolor E logo that year. Enron also created Azurix around water-sector assets after acquiring Wessex Water in 1998. In late 2001, revelations about its accounting practices preceded its December 2 bankruptcy filing. It emerged from bankruptcy in November 2004, later operated as Enron Creditors Recovery Corp., and sold its final business, Prisma Energy, in 2006. The recovery corporation was dissolved in 2016.

- Use warm water, dish soap and clean spots off your sleeve. It's not necessary to soak the whole sleeve. For hard to clean spots use a soft bristled brush.
